Our Privacy Policy

Cancellation Policy: Patients are required to provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.
This policy helps to ensure that appointment slots can be reallocated to other patients in need.
There will be a DNA fee of 20 AUD if cancelled within 3 hours of the appointment.

Results and Reminders Policy: Patients will be notified of test results via their preferred
communication method, such as phone or email. Reminder systems are in place for follow-up
appointments and regular health checks, using either automated calls, texts, or emails.

Transfer of Medical Records Policy: Medical records can be transferred to and from the clinic
upon patient request. There will be a nominal fee. This process is handled with strict
confidentiality and in compliance with all relevant privacy regulations.

Privacy Policy: Wellness Family Doctors is committed to protecting patient privacy. Personal
health information is handled in accordance with national privacy laws and guidelines, ensuring
that all patient data is securely stored and only accessible to authorized personnel.

Fees* Policy: We are currently bulk billing for all medicare rebatable services.

Fees for patients without a medicare card :

• Standard consultation: $90
• Long consultation: $150

There will be charges for services that do not have a medicare rebate on them as below. These
are not exhaustive, if you are requesting any similar services that are not mentioned below,
kindly reach out to our friendly reception for costs:( * – All final fees are subject to individual doctor’s discretion)

• Medical certificates for employers including fitness to return
• Insurance and letters for lawyers etc
• Treatment room fees
• Non cancerous mole removals
• Private vaccinations not funded under NIP
